No email, no phone: the recovery route
When both contact details are gone, these are your levers.
Stuck? Hand it to a recovery team and skip the guesswork.
We'll handle it for youMeta needs to tie you to the account somehow. When both contacts are gone, these are your levers.
- Get the email back first. If the hacker got into your Gmail or Outlook too, recover that through Google or Microsoft. It unlocks everything else.
- Video selfie. Works when your face is in the account's photos.
- ID upload. Name must match the profile.
- A device you used before. Try recovery from your usual phone and Wi-Fi; it helps Meta recognise you.
- Old password. Facebook accepts a recently used one.
Accounts without your face in them need a different route; that's a common reason people come to UnbanPro for lost email and phone cases.
Proving ownership without contacts
- The email that originally created the account
- Screenshots or receipts that tie you to it: payments, ads invoices, Meta Verified
- Photos of you on the profile, for selfie matching
Questions people ask
Can Instagram support change my email for me?
Not by request. Recovery runs through the automated flow, or through Meta Verified support if you have it.
