Hacked, then disabled
Two problems at once: recover first, then appeal.
Stuck? Hand it to a recovery team and skip the guesswork.
We'll handle it for youHackers often use stolen accounts for crypto scams or spam, which triggers a ban. Now you're locked out twice: by the hacker and by Meta.
Order of operations
- Secure your email account.
- Gather proof of the hack: security emails, login alerts, messages from friends.
- Log in to see if an appeal is offered. If it is, appeal and explain the hack with dates.
- Use a clear appeal letter. The AccountAppeals generator has a "hacked then banned" option.
- After restoration, delete the intruder's posts and lock it down.
UnbanPro takes on hacked-then-disabled cases end to end.
